FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials for protection against neutron radiation. Heat-resistant polyorganosiloxane composition containing (pts. wt.) polymer binder – dimethylsiloxane rubber with terminal -OH groups of SKTN-A (100), filler amorphous boron (5–30), artificial graphite (5–50) and catalyst K-18 (4).
EFFECT: creation of heat-resistant composition for neutron absorption, which makes it possible to increase the reliability of the protective properties of the resulting material, and also to use it at a temperature of more than 250 °C.
