FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Inhaler comprises a body for receiving a single blister containing a dose of drug substance, a mouthpiece, as well as a device for opening a blister comprising an element for supporting the blister, as well as an element for flexing the blister, capable of interacting with the element to support the blister. Blister flexing member and the blister supporting member are movable relative to each other between a first position for inserting said blister into an element for supporting the blister or on it, and a second opening for opening, a position in which the blister flexing member interacted with the blister supporting member. Movement from the first position to the second position causes each of the two spaced apart portions of said blister to form relative to the rest of the blister and relative to the blister supporting member along the corresponding fold line, to form two spaced openings, so that when the user inhales through the mouthpiece, an airflow is generated through the blister passing through the two holes, to carry away the dose contained in it and take it out of the blister and then through the mouthpiece into the user's respiratory tract.
EFFECT: dry powder inhaler is proposed.
