FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: digital glasses contain a darkened lens with a video camera mounted in it at the level of the pupil with turning angles corresponding to the human eye, and also a lens with a digital internal screen located closer to the bridge of the nose. Above the lens is the position sensor of the pupil of the seeing eye. Camera moves synchronously with the seeing eye. Lens with a movable monitor rearranges the angle of the image depending on the rotation of the eye. In inner volume of the lens of the unseeing eye, a microcomputer is installed, responsible for synchronizing all digital devices and creating a video stream in the digital inner screen of the lens of the seeing eye. Digital glasses for people with one seeing eye are designed to return the fullness of the visual picture by combining a digital picture of the unseeing eye in the seeing, which allows for one seeing eye to perceive the environment in the scope of binocular vision, as with two seeing eyes.
EFFECT: providing emulation of binocular vision for an observer with one unseeing eye.
