SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the machining of material by cutting and can be used in making holes in hard and brittle materials such as glass and glass ceramics. Tool crown comprises a grinding body in the form of a hollow cylinder and extends into a hollow shaft. On the end surface of the hollow cylinder-shaped grinding body, in the axis of the cylinder of the grinding body, there is a central grinding surface which is connected to the inner wall of the hollow cylinder-shaped grinding body by means of at least one web. End surface of the grinding body, the web with the central grinding surface and at least a portion of the outer wall of the grinding body are coated with an abrasive material. Between at least one web and the inner wall of the grinding body there is at least an opening in the interior of the hollow shaft.
EFFECT: enabling formation of deep holes and milling without breaking the tool.
