FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic equipment and can be used to protect river water extraction installations from ingress of sediment, rubbish and floating inclusions. Method consists in regulating of hydraulic structure of water flow upstream of water intake directly with a bucket free water intake. Hydraulic structure of the flow is formed by threshold of L-shaped wall of broken outline, then water is taken through the threshold, expands and forms a swirl zone in bucket water intake adjoining to coast edge of current of water, and selection of water consumption for water needs is carried out from a swirl zone through a spill with a wide threshold and a catch into lateral pipeline. In water track 1 with established circulating threshold of L-shaped wall of broken outline, which is made of two vertically connected vertical walls 2 and 3, one of which, wall 2, is placed at an angle to axis of streamflow 1 in direction of flow, and the other wall 3 is parallel to the axis of streamflow 1. On the threshold of wall 2 stream forming element 5 is turnable installed in horizontal plane on axis 4, this element is made in form of a horizontal sector plate 6 and attached to its cambered edge of a cambered plate 7. To convex side of wall 10 of a bucket water intake 8, a horizontal shelf 9 is fixed, and deflector 11 is attached to side wall of channel. Bottom 12 of bucket water intake 8 is sloped towards the threshold of L-shaped wall of broken outline. Stream forming element 5 in use occupies a different horizontal position at threshold 2. Design of threshold of the L-shaped wall of broken outline (in form of gusset) and bucket water intake in general contribute to extraction of sediments towards the flow of streamflow to the lower pound lock and the flow of clear water into lateral pipeline 16.
EFFECT: invention allows, after circulating threshold in free bucket water intake, to create hydraulic conditions that ensure effective protection against sediments and rubbish entering lateral pipeline and reliability of operation of equipment in general.
