FIELD: personal and household goods.

SUBSTANCE: absorbing product for personal grooming is proposed, in which a combination of empty spaces, also called channels, is applied, in perinea region of the product in combination with the shaping elastic elements located outside the transverse lateral edges of absorbing core. When combined with operational alignment of certain components and crease line placed in concrete way, a product with improved convex or curved outward curvature of the base during unfolding is created, that provides increased spatial separation of upper sheet or body-facing liner in user’s genital area.

EFFECT: by controlling specific position of such elements in the product, gender-specific product designs are created that are specially designed to better cope with differences in the position of male and female genitalia.
