FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: in-house needs power supply system (IHNPSS) is designed for use at those electric stations (ES) and substations of various purposes, in which for the electric drive of machines and mechanisms of auxiliary equipment, motors with the variable speed of new varieties are installed, which come into use instead of directly connected to the IHNPSS asynchronous short-circuited and synchronous motors, including motors, which must be powered by direct current sources. IHNPSS, receiving power from of the ES main switchgear (MSG) busbars, to which the ES generators and transformers are connected, connecting the MSG to the ES high voltage switchgear, contains the switchboards (SB): SB1, to which the first consumers are connected, which are consumers of in-house needs (IHN) AC high voltage (HV), and SB2, to which the second consumers are connected, which are the IHN consumers of the AC low voltage (LV), as well as other components: direct current HV buses, connected to the MSG busbars via the controlled voltage rectifiers, equipped with these rectifiers starting devices, DC power distribution system, connected to the said direct current HV buses, first, second and third transistor autonomous voltage inverters, equipped with these inverters starting devices and connected by their input clamps, via these starting devices, to the DC power distribution system, and transistor DC voltage pulse converters, equipped with these converters starting devices and connected by their input clamps, via these starting devices, to the DC power distribution system, wherein all of the said controllable voltage rectifiers and autonomous voltage inverters microprocessor control systems give these power electronics devices the reversible voltage converter properties with the power factor maximum possible value at the alternating current clamps.

EFFECT: increase in the power factor consumed by the in-house needs electric motors from the MSG busbars, reduction of all of the in-house needs consumers currents maximum values and ensuring their uninterrupted power supply.
