DEVICE FOR WAVE ENERGY CONVERSION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F03B13/20

Abstract RU 2661974 C2

FIELD: small energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small-scale power engineering, namely to floating installations using the energy of sea waves. Device comprises the floating base 1, the pendulum 5, which is designed with possibility to swing with respect to the base 1 about the horizontal axis, which is provided with the means for adjusting the oscillation period of the pendulum, and the pendulum power take-off means, which is configured in order to interact with the power generator 19. Means for adjusting the oscillation period of the pendulum are made in the form of several water-filled tanks 7–10, which are rigidly fixed on the pendulum 5 at a different distance from the axis of its swinging, the water pump 21, which is located on the pendulum 5 in its lower part, and the water supply system to the tanks 7–10, including control valves and conduits, which connect the water pump 21 to each of the tanks 7–10.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design, reducing the material consumption and increasing reliability.
