FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas processing industry and can be used in oil-refining and petrochemical plants to purify light hydrocarbon fractions from sulfur compounds – hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans. Method for purifying hydrocarbon fractions from sulfur-containing compounds involves mixing the hydrocarbon fraction with ammonia water and separation segregation of the obtained mixture into purified hydrocarbon fractions and discharge ammonia water, which is regenerated for subsequent feeding of hydrocarbon fractions for purification. Regeneration of discharge ammonia water is carried out by its purification from sulfur-containing compounds in an absorption-stripping column and rectification in a distillation column to produce treated wastewater and a steam-gas output product. Wherein steam-gas output product is directed to a water content reduction column, from where a received gaseous output product is sent to an absorber tower to obtain regenerated ammonia water.

EFFECT: creation of an environmentally safe, simple and reliable method for cleaning hydrocarbon fractions from sulfur compounds.
