FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining and petrochemical industry and is intended for deep purification of gaseous ammonia recovered from process condensates. Method of deep purification of gaseous ammonia recovered from process condensates comprises feeding gaseous mixture for cleaning into three-sectional absorber equipped with two circulated cooled sprinkling in its top and bottom parts and ammonia discharge lines from above absorber and ammonium salt solution in ammonia water from absorber bottom. Upper and lower sections of the absorber are made as packed and the middle section is dish-like.
EFFECT: invention reduces amount of residual hydrogen sulphide and water in purified ammonia, prevents formation of ammonium hydrosulphide salts in apparatus and pipelines; eliminating the effects of mud spray and fluid loss during cleaning, improving separation efficiency of ammonia-containing gas and residues of hydrogen sulphide-containing gas.
