SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in the manufacturing of flexible abrasive material intended for complex surfaces polishing in various industries. Method comprises production of providing the dust suction the first substrate from woven or nonwoven material. First substrate lower surface has possibility of fixation to the working head base plate or lining of machine, such as polishing machine. Using of at least two rectilinear abrasive strips is provided, each of which has the second substrate, on which the abrasive grains are applied with the help of the first resin. Said abrasive strips are separately applied to the first substrate at a predetermined distance from each other, their arrangement side by side and parallel to each other with at least one dust extraction passage formation. Substrate with strips is shaped to produce the flexible abrasive material, which shape corresponds to the said machine working head shape.

EFFECT: result is increase in the surface treatment quality due to ensuring of the abrasive material high resistance to clogging.
