FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: current-transmitting element is intended for use in the current collectors, which provide for power transmission or transmission of electric signals from the fixed element of the structure to the rotating element or in the opposite direction. Current-transmitting element can be used in current collectors of excavators, load-lifting mechanisms, telescopes, rotary antennas, wind generators. In order to transfer electricity from the fixed part of the current collector to the moving part in this current-transmitting element the rotation bodies are applied, which provide for the constant electrical contact between the moving and stationary part of the current collector.

EFFECT: this allows to exclude from the structure of the current collector such wearing parts and unreliable parts, as the brush and brush assembly, as well as the possibility of using the current-transmitting element in a wide range of speeds of moving current-transmitting surfaces; this also provides for the increased reliability, simplifies the construction and operation of the current collector in comparison with the existing analogues.
