SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an assembly, in particular a play fountain. Assembly, in particular a play fountain, comprises a floor for carrying people, electrical devices, such as electric motors coupled to pumps and nozzles for generating jets of liquid, distributed over the area of the floor, and a control system for operating the electrical devices. Assembly comprises rechargeable batteries connected to the electrical devices. Method of operating assembly comprises generating a succession of different configurations such that, averaged over a predetermined period of time, the load is evenly distributed over the batteries. Preferably all batteries remain within ±20% of the average state of charge of the batteries.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is improved safety and efficient power management.
