FIELD: hydraulic devices.
SUBSTANCE: decorative luminous fountain contains nozzles on a flexible elastic base, in the upper part of which magnetic or ferromagnetic elements, an RGB LED spotlight for lighting the water jet and a control device are fixed. Magnetic or ferromagnetic elements are made with the possibility of interaction by means of a magnetic field in two perpendicular directions with two electromagnets located in perpendicular planes and providing nozzle deflection in their direction due to attractive forces arising between magnetic or ferromagnetic elements and electromagnets. The searchlight is made with the possibility of generating short light pulses of various colours. The control device consists of a microcontroller and six electric switches. The control device provides, by means of pulse-width modulation (PWM), synchronization of the switching of electromagnets and lighting with the possibility of obtaining various combinations of frequency, duration, amplitude and phase shift between the switching pulses of electromagnets and lighting. The nozzle is configured with the possibility of deviation to the point of equilibrium between the force of attraction of the electromagnets and the force of elasticity of the flexible elastic base. The amount of deviation is controlled by changing the strength of the magnetic field of the electromagnet. After turning off the electromagnets, the nozzle deviates towards the initial equilibrium position under the action of the elastic force of the flexible elastic base, upon reaching which the deviation from the equilibrium position continues by inertia in the opposite direction by the magnitude of the oscillation amplitude.
EFFECT: ensuring synchronization of movement of the water jet and the light source.
