SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held knives with a fixed blade, namely to a mesh-like fruit and vegetable slicer with a push out mechanism and suitable for sharpening. In the method, the mech-like fruit and vegetable slicer with a push out mechanism and suitable for sharpening includes a mesh-like knife and a push off mechanism to eject pieces of fruit and vegetables. Further, the mesh-like knife may be disassembled into individual knives, whose ends are clamped between the support frame from below and the holders from above. Said support frame and four holders are bolted with nuts, and the longitudinal and transverse knives have different heights, which differ by the thickness of the holder plate. Also, the fruit and vegetable slicer is provided with a separate cutting board, whose length and width correspond to the internal dimensions of the support frame, and the height of the board above the table is greater than or equal to the distance from the lower edge of the fastening bolt to the lower edge of the knives with the possibility to reach the bottom edge of the knives while lying on the table. Also, the upper surface of the cutting board is rough. In addition, the fruit and vegetable slicer is provided with a separate push out mechanism to push pieces of fruit and vegetables out of the mesh-like knife from the bottom up. Said push out mechanism consists of a horizontal grid with vertical pushers, four angle pushers have a height greater than the other pushers, and serve as guides at the beginning of ejection, the remaining pushers have the same height, which is greater than or equal to the distance from the lower edge of the bolts to the upper edge of the mesh-like knives, the lateral walls of the pushers are parallel and perpendicular to the horizontal grid of the push out mechanism.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to enable slicing of large vegetables and fruit without their preliminary cutting, providing the possibility of cutting several fruit and vegetables at the same time, providing the possibility of sharpening the blades.
