FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the administration of multiple threads in a computer. Computer system contains virtual machine (VM) configuration containing one or more cores. Each core is capable of working in single thread (ST) or multithreaded (MT) mode. ST mode consists of a single thread, and the MT mode consists of several threads on the shared resources of the corresponding core. Computer system includes a core-oriented system control area (COSCA), comprising a common area representing all of the number of one or more VM configuration cores, and separate areas of the core description for each core from among one or more cores in the VM configuration. Each core description area indicates the location of one or more thread description areas, each representing a thread in the corresponding core, and each flow description area indicates the location of the state description of the corresponding stream.
EFFECT: reduced cost of coordinating resources between working threads of the hypervisor in a multi-threaded environment.
