FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrument making and can find application in devices for lighting streets, buildings and underground structures. Task is solved by using Tesla transformer with an isolated high-potential terminal as a power supply. Low-voltage current lead of the Tesla transformer is connected to the start of a single-wire line. End of a single-wire electrical line is grounded. Luminaires are included in the ruptures of a single-wire line, in series one after another. In another embodiment of the lighting system, the end of the single-wire electrical line is left unconnected, the luminaires are connected to a single-wire electrical line with one end in parallel to each other. Luminaire leads are grounded directly near the luminaires. In another embodiment of the lighting system, the end of the single-wire electrical line is connected to the low-potential terminal of the reflective Tesla transformer, and both transformers together with a single-wire line form a half-wave resonance system. In this case, the high-voltage terminals of both Tesla transformers are left unconnected, and the luminaires are connected to a single-wire line in parallel or in series. Tesla transformers, as well as a single-wire electrical line can be placed in grounded screens. There are other options for connecting the elements of the system and the use of various equipment.
EFFECT: object of the invention is to exclude the possibility of hitting a high electric potential on the luminaires, excluding from the composition of the components of the lighting system capacitive ballasts in the form of isolated conducting bodies, as well as a low-voltage earthing terminal of a resonant high-frequency transformer, reducing the risk of emergency earth faults and reducing the risk of electric shock to service personnel and users, reducing capital costs during commissioning and reducing the cost of maintenance of lighting systems.
