Friction lining for the disc brake has a brake lining, as well as a number of lining elements that are supported by means of carrier plates on the brake lining. Bearing plates are spherically supported on the brake lining. Elements of the lining are spherically supported on the supporting plates. Support of elements of a lining on a brake lining through bearing plates is calculated so that created due to the feeding force when pressing the lining elements against the brake disc specific pressure of the lining members falls radially with respect to the pivot axis of the brake disc with the increasing distance of the lining elements from the pivot axis of the brake disc.

EFFECT: uniform distribution of wear along the overall surface of the lining and prevention of premature replacement of the friction lining due to obliquely wear elements, and also maintenance of uniform spot of deterioration and reception of uniform receipt of heat from elements of lining in a brake disk irrespective of a condition of deterioration of elements of lining.
