SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to railway transport. Brake pad for the disc brake comprises the pad bearing assembly, as well as several group elements arranged on the pad bearing assembly. Each of the group elements consists of bearing plate and several pad elements arranged on the bearing plate. On the corresponding bearing plates, the pad elements with two friction surfaces of different dimensions are arranged. In the case of the first group elements, the number of pad elements with larger friction surface is greater than the number of pad elements with smaller friction surface. In the case of the second group elements, the number of pad elements with larger friction surface is smaller than the number of pad elements with smaller friction surface. First group elements are located on the pad bearing assembly radially relative to containing the circle sector circumference central point, farther outwards than the second group elements.

EFFECT: enabling the wear uniform distribution along the pad entire surface and prevention of the brake pad premature replacement.
