DEVICE OF CONTROLLED PROVISION OF SEA WATER IN THE NOSE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61H35/04

Abstract RU 2662875 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a medical technique, namely to a device for simultaneously supplying a controlled and repeatable manner of a fixed volume of seawater or saline in the nasal cavity, nasal conchas and paranasal sinuses of both nostrils of the nose. Device comprises a base having a main storage area and a small storage. Device includes two tubes connected to the base, each of the two tubes has a main channel and a secondary channel and an outlet at one end thereof. Main and secondary channels are connected at one end to the outlet branch pipe. Outlet branch has an expandable periphery. Respective main channels are connected to a main storage area, which is configured to simultaneously deliver content, upon activation of the mechanism, to the main channels from the main storage area. First of the main channels is configured to supply the contents to the first nostril. Second of the main channels is configured to simultaneously supply the contents to the second nostril. Small storage is configured to be filled with water and to supply water through the respective secondary channels to each of the peripheries of each outlet to expand each of the peripheries of each outlet.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of a fixed column of seawater under pressure for continuous intake into the nostrils for the complete development of the osmotic phenomenon, as well as the Valsava movement.
