FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for reducing torsional vibrations. In the method, the device for reducing torsional vibrations includes a rotating body, an inertial body, a connecting element and a first connecting portion, and a second connecting portion. These portions are separately provided for either the rotating body or the inertial body. Above connecting element transmits torque to the rotating body and the inertial body. Also, the first connecting portion is engaged with the connecting member, so as to limit the movement of the connecting element in the direction of rotation of the rotating body and allow the connecting member to move in the radial direction of the rotating body. Also, the second connecting portion is engaged with the connecting element in such a manner that, when the rotating body and the inertial body rotate relative to each other, the contact portion of the connecting member with respect to the first connecting portion moves in the radial direction of the rotating body.
EFFECT: improvement in the damping characteristics for low-frequency oscillation is achieved.
