FIELD: cattle breeding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feeds intended for an animals, namely to biologically active feed additives (BAA). Method of making feed additives for animals and birds is that the silicon-containing material is preliminarily fired at a temperature of 600–700 °C. Then, on the fired silicon-containing material bacteria are sprayed, after the resulting product is applied to plant supplements. Further, the treated granules of the silicon-containing material are mixed for 15–20 minutes in the granulator at a speed of 30 to 40 Hz when the bowl is tilted from 40 to 50 degrees until the lumps and wet zones disappear. After that, the granules are dried at a temperature of 15 to 25 °C, spreading them in a thin layer on a flat, dry and clean surface. In this case, crumbs of diatomite is used as a silicon-containing material, as bacteria – Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis, and as a vegetable additive – a mixture of essential oils of eucalyptus, garlic, lemon and thyme with the following ratio of components, mass %: diatomite crumb – 95–99.854; Bacillus subtilis – 0.003–1; Bacillus licheniformis – 0.003–1; eucalyptus essential oil – 0.035–0.75; essential oil of garlic – 0.035–0.75; essential oil of lemon – 0.035–0.75; essential oil of thyme – 0.035–0.75.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the livestock, increase immune system and normalize digestion of animals and birds, and also helps to gain a body weight.
