FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: feed additive consists of viable bacteria of strain Enterococcus faecium, plant raw material, and filler. The filler is used as diatomite in the form of a burnt crumb. The viable bacteria of strain Enterococcus faecium are used as a strain of bacteria Enterococcus faecium 1-35 deposited in the collection of the Russian State Research Institute of Control, Standardisation and Certification of Veterinary Preparations (RSRIC) 20.03.2008 under the registration number Enterococcus faecium of RSRIC 08.03.53-DEP stored in the collection of microorganisms of LLC "Biotrof", applied on diatomite in the form of burnt crumb and having a titre of bacteria Enterococcus faecium 1-35 not less than 106 CFU/mg. The plant raw material is used as a mixture of essential oils of eucalyptus, thyme, garlic, and lemon taken at a ratio of 1:2:1:2, respectively, and applied on diatomite in the form of burnt crumb to obtain a dry concentrate of the mixture of essential oils of eucalyptus, thyme, garlic and lemon in the form of powder. All initial components are taken in a certain ratio. The feed additive is added into the feed composition at a ratio of 0.001:1. Implementation of the invention enables to extend the range of feed additives with high phytoprobiotic activity on mineral basis.

EFFECT: improvement of health, improvement of safety of young animals and increase in productivity of farm animals and poultry.
