FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, and an electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit. Inventive process cartridge comprises: (i) a photosensitive drum rotating around the drum axis, (ii) a rotatable developing roller configured to develop a latent image formed on said photosensitive drum, (iii) a connecting member provided at an axial end portion of said photosensitive drum and rotated about an axis of the coupling member for transferring the driving force to said photosensitive drum, said connecting member being adapted to tilt with respect to said photosensitive drum, so that the axis of the connecting member is inclined relative to the drum axis, the coupling member having (iii-i) a first end portion connected to said photosensitive drum, (iii-ii) a second end portion and (iii-iii) a connecting portion between said first end portion and said second end portion, the maximum distance from the axis of the connecting member to the outermost surface of said connecting portion along a line perpendicular to the axis of the connecting member, less than the maximum distance from the axis of the connecting member to the outermost surface of said second end portion along a line perpendicular to the axis of the connecting member, and (iv) a control portion surrounding said coupling member for limiting the range in which said connecting member is tilted, said adjusting part being provided with a portion, which is open in a direction away from said drum axis and away from said developing roller, and wherein the angle between the axis of the connecting member and the drum axis is large, when at least a portion of said connecting part is in said portion, which is open in a direction away from said drum axis and from said developing roller than when said connection element is in contact with another portion of said regulating portion.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the operability of the maintenance of the image forming apparatus by enabling the user to efficiently perform the maintenance operation of the device, and also in providing an increase in the accuracy of rotation of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum.
