SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and can be used for removal of logging areas when harvesting wood. Way to remove the boundaries of cutting areas is to use the receiver of a satellite navigation system (SNS) to determine the coordinates of the reference points – inspectors of cutting areas and their binding to the location, magnetic compass (azimuth circles), pylon pillars and capsules with radio tags to mark the boundaries of cutting areas with technical adaptations for performing work on marking the boundaries of cutting areas. In this case, the SNS receiver is installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) as a part of a digital navigation and flight control system (FCS), to which the coordinates of the next reference point of a cutting area are transferred to the UAV receiver, which are transmitted to the computing device FCS, where they are compared with the coordinates of the FCS itself, followed by the issuance of directive rejection signals, followed by a one-time command for automatic or manual control of the UAV, after which the directive signals of deviations arrive in the command execution unit, from which the control signals arrive at the UAV input. When the directive signals are reset, a command is issued to reset the beacon-pennant, whose drop location is fixed as the next reference point-sight of a cutting area with the given coordinates.

EFFECT: ensuring the objectivity of measurements, improving the accuracy of determining the coordinates of control points – cutting area inspectors during the operation of the SNS on the UAV over the forest in absence of interference, reducing the laboriousness of work to remove the boundaries of cutting areas.
