FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in multi-position radio engineering systems installed on aircraft to determine coordinates of pulsed radio emission sources (PRES). Said result is achieved by receiving both direct and mirror re-reflected earth signals, wherein at least three receiving points (RP) on corresponding unmanned aerial vehicles, according to signals of navigation-time provision units in each RP, determining their coordinates in space, transmitting coordinate information to ground receiving and processing station (GRPS), when RP detecting a forward PRES signal, each RP retransmits the moment of its detection to GRPS, on each RP determining the presence of a mirror re-reflected by the earth surface signal, retransmitting moment of its detection to GRPS, where value of delay between direct signals received in various RP is measured, and the delay value between the forward and mirror re-reflected earth signal in each RP, calculating the distances of paths of the direct signal paths from the PRES to each RP and the difference in the path distances of the forward and mirror reflections of the signal in each RP, wherein based on calculation of path difference from PRES to each RP of direct signals received by different RPs, and difference of path of forward and mirror reflections of the signal in each RP, location of PRES in three-dimensional space is calculated.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining location of PRES.
