FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical measurements, namely, to energy photometry, and can be used to measure large levels of average power of collimate laser radiation. Laser radiation power meter comprises absorptive cavity with an entrance window provided with water jacket with a differential thermobattery, calibration electric heater and a cone reflector at the bottom of the cavity opposite the entrance window. Cavity is formed by two coaxial cylindrical parts of larger and smaller diameters and has a T-shaped profile in axial section. Entrance window is made in the front wall of the smaller diameter part, and cone reflector is installed on the rear wall of the larger diameter part.

EFFECT: increasing permissible power level (including power density) of measured laser radiation.
