FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for measuring optical characteristics by optical means and can be used in designing interferometers for precise control of the shape of convex spherical, concave aspherical and planar reflecting surfaces of large diameters, in particular mirrors of telescopes, convex spherical astrophysical objectives and optical systems for the conversion of laser radiation. Interferometer for controlling the shape of different surfaces of large-sized optical components includes an illuminating branch with a source of monochromatic radiation, the beam splitter and the recording branch, which together make up the wave front analyzer, plane mirror installed in series along the radiation path, with the possibility of rotating it by 90°, two compensators and two controlled parts in two measuring branches, and between the compensators there is a biconcave mirror with an axial hole, with reference mirror surfaces of different curvatures, for example elliptical, spherical, facing the controlled surfaces of the parts.
EFFECT: creation of an interferometer of a simplified design for simultaneous control of large-sized optical surfaces of various shapes, namely convex spherical, concave aspherical, planar reflecting.
