FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for converting feedstock comprising materials of biological origin into hydrocarbons. Method for converting feedstock comprising materials of biological origin into hydrocarbons comprises steps, where feedstock comprising at least one material of biological origin is subjected to purification to obtain purified feedstock, the purified feedstock is subjected to hydroprocessing in two steps, wherein at the first hydroprocessing step, the purified feedstock is brought into contact with at least one hydrodeoxygenation catalyst comprising NiMo, CoMo or mixture Ni, Mo and Co, and with at least one hydrodewaxing catalyst including NiW, at a temperature of 330-430°C, to obtain a product of the first hydroprocessing step. At the second hydroprocessing step, the product of the first hydroprocessing step is brought into contact with a hydrodearomatisation catalyst comprising metals selected from Pt, Pd, Ir, Ru, Rh, Re, Ni, Co, Mo, W, CoMo, NiMo and NiW, at a temperature of 180-350°C, wherein the temperature at the second step is lower than at the first step, to obtain a hydroprocessing product, and hydrodearomatisation is carried out after hydrodeoxygenation and hydrodewaxing.
EFFECT: technical result is the production of hydrocarbons with low aromatic content.
