FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of vibration damping elastomeric materials used to reduce or eliminate vibrations in industrial installations, electronic devices, in construction and household. Composition comprises butadiene-nitrile rubber with a content of 32–40 % nitrile acrylic acid, a vulcanizing system, a filler, a softener and processing aids. Vulcanizing system comprises sulfur, a thiazole type vulcanization accelerator, zinc oxide, stearic acid or a complex of synthetic fatty acids. Mixture of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and di-(2-benzothiazolyl)-disulfide is used as a thiazole type vulcanization accelerator.
EFFECT: invention provides the production of a vibration damping elastomeric material with improved physical-mechanical and operational properties: absorbing up to 85 % of vibration energy in the frequency range from 2 to 10,000 Hz, high resistance of products to effects of petroleum and animal oils, gasolines and fuels, alkalis and acids, resistance to hydrolysis, as well as high electrical insulation characteristics.
