SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals from corrosion in oil and gas industry in production, storage and transportation of hydrocarbons and can be used to protect parts of engines operating on hydrocarbon fuel from the negative effects of water and other impurities, factors that increase their corrosive activity. Use of N,N-dimethyl-para-anisidine as a corrosion inhibitor in hydrocarbon fuels.
EFFECT: use of N,N-dimethyl-para-anisidine as a corrosion inhibitor contributes to increase in corrosive properties of the fuel.
