SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the halo(chloro-, bromo-)butyl rubbers production method, which are used in the tubeless tires hermetic layer and various rubber articles production, including for the medicine and pharmaceuticals. Halo(chloro-, bromo-)butyl rubbers production method is implemented by the isobutylene copolymerization with isoprene under the methyl chloride environment on the aluminum chloride catalyst with subsequent reaction mass aqueous degassing with the base rubber crumb in water formation, the formed rubber crumb dissolution in the hydrocarbon solvent, rubber solution separation from water in the dissolution apparatus, rubber solution treating with the halogen in the hydrocarbon solvent solution, washing with water and the resulting halo-butyl rubber solution neutralization, halo-butyl rubber solution charging with the de-halo-hydrogenating stabilizers with epoxidized soybean oil and calcium stearate, halo-butyl rubber solution charging with the antioxidant, solution degassing, averaging and the halo-butyl rubber chips drying. Method is differs in that in the base rubber degassing stage, to the aqueous crumb tetrakis-phenolic antioxidant is added in the amount of 0.01–0.03 wt.% by the polymer, and before the halo-butyl rubber degassing stage, to its solution the antioxidant is added, selected from the group of mono-, tris- or tetrakis-phenols in the amount of 0.05–0.2 wt.%, wherein the mono-phenol molecular weight must be at least of 300 units.

EFFECT: decrease in the halo-butyl rubbers Mooney viscosity drop.
