FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a device for conservative therapy of nose and paranasal sinuses diseases. Device comprises obturators of the posterior and anterior nose openings, each of which is made in the form of an expandable shell of elastic material provided with a delivery tube. Distal end of the shell is coupled to the cavity beneath the shell, and its proximal end is provided with an adapter with a valve mechanism. Shell of the obturator of the posterior nose opening is tightly fixed to the distal part of its delivery tube. Shell of the obturator of the anterior nose opening is tightly fixed to the cuff. There are two channels in the cuff, one of which has a delivery tube of the obturator of the posterior nose opening so that the cuff can move along the entire length of the delivery tube. In the other channel, a catheter is placed to evacuate the pathological secretion from the paranasal sinuses and/or to administrate solutions of medicinal preparations therein for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Catheter is placed in said channel with the possibility of moving its distal part into the space between the obturator shells.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of treatment of nose and paranasal sinuses diseases.
