FIELD: layered products and materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer film used as a packaging material comprising a layer sequence consisting of (a) layer (a), (b) layer (b) and (c) layer (c). Layer (a) consists of at least one polyethylene of low density in the range of from 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm3 or a mixture (α) of at least one polyethylene of low density from 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm3 and (β) at least one homo- or copolymer of an aliphatic C3-C6olefin. Layer (b) consists of a mixture (I) of at least one polyethylene of low density from 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm3 and (II) at least one thermoplastic polymer selected from styrene (co)polymers, wherein polymer component II accounts for not more than 50 wt%, based on the total weight of the mixture of polymer components I and II. Layer (c) consists of at least one polyethylene of low density from 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm3 or from a mixture of (α) of at least one polyethylene of low density from 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm3 and (β) of at least one homo- or copolymer of an aliphatic C3-C6olefin.
EFFECT: according to the invention, the tearing force of such multilayer film in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction thereof is not more than 1000 mN when tested according to the Elmendorf method in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6383-2 with a total thickness of 50 mcm.
