FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically a video endoscopic device comprising a camera head and two parallel optical assemblies. Optical components transmit an optical image from the distal end of the corresponding optical assembly to the proximal end of the corresponding optical assembly. Camera head includes at least one image sensor comprising a recording plane and at least two projection lenses, each having a second optical axis and arranged and configured to project an image onto the image sensor. Each of the optical assemblies comprises a collimating optical unit located at its respective proximal end. At least one projection lens is arranged and configured to form an image of a parallel beam path in at least one focus.
EFFECT: parallel beam path enters at least one projection lens with a transverse distance from the second optical axis of the at least one projection lens.
