SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ironing appliances. Ironing plate contains a composite coating applied over the ironing plate. Composite coating contains a dielectric layer on top of the ironing plate that has a surface resistance of more than 109 Ohm, and a static electricity dissipating layer intended to be in contact with a garment or cloth during ironing, located on the dielectric layer and in direct contact with the ironing plate. Static electricity-dispersive layer has a surface resistance of less than 109 Ohm, so that the charges generated on the static-scattering layer during ironing, easier to dissipate from the static electricity scattering layer through the ironing plate compared to the scattering of charges from the dielectric layer through the ironing plate in the absence of the said static electricity-scattering layer.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of static electricity dissipation.
