FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment and can be used to protect an aircraft from guided missiles. Device for ejecting pyrotechnic cartridges contains a box-shaped box with fastening units for replaceable cassettes and a contact module for triggering pyrotechnic cartridges. Body is mounted in a frame with the possibility of rotation in one plane, and the frame is connected to the fuselage of the aircraft with the possibility of rotation in a plane perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the body. In addition, sensors for corners and frame rotation angles, mechanisms for rotating the body and frame, as well as the control unit are introduced. Outputs of the housing and frame angle sensors are connected to the first and second inputs of the control unit, respectively, the first and second outputs of the control unit are connected to the rotation mechanisms of the housing and the frame, respectively, and the third output is connected to the input of the contact module.
EFFECT: increase the effectiveness of protection of the aircraft from guided missiles by turning the ejection device in the direction of the attacking missile and shooting pyrotechnic cartridges.
