FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a protective cap for containers comprising upper cap (1) provided for closing upper portion of the container (2), and hinge section (3) provided for allowing the top cap (1) to angularly move relative to upper side of the container (2), hinge section (3) comprising at least one connecting element with contact surface (31) provided for connection to side wall (20) of container (2) by means of an adhesive material. Contact surface is arc-shaped with a radius that is substantially equal to the radius of curvature of side wall (20) of container (2) and a length that is less than the circumference of the side wall of container (2).
EFFECT: protective cap is not provided with a lower ring for its attachment to the container, and, consequently, the manufacturing and assembly process is simplified.
