FIELD: soil or rock drilling; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tools for multilateral wellbore operations. More particularly, provided is a downhole tool string comprising: a wand; kickover knuckle joint coupled to the wand to deflect the wand away from the central axis; orienting sub adapted to adjust an angular orientation of at least the kickover knuckle joint and the wand about the central axis; orientation measurement device adapted to measure an azimuth, an inclination, and a tool-face direction; wellbore telemetry device communicably coupled to the orientation measurement device for communicating device location data to the surface in real-time; and sequencing flow sub that is actuatable to prevent a stimulation fluid from passing into at least the orienting sub, the kickover knuckle joint, and the wand, and instead divert the stimulation fluid out of the sequencing flow sub to undertake a wellbore stimulation operation in the wellbore. Wherein the downhole tool string further comprises: a connector used to couple the downhole tool string to a conveyance, a motor head assembly positioned between the connector and the orienting sub. Wherein the motor head assembly includes a hydraulic disconnect that allows lower portions of the downhole tool string below the motor head assembly to be disconnected, circulation port providing an outlet for fluids conveyed to the downhole tool string from the conveyance and a burst disc that allows fluid circulation through the downhole tool string in the event the lower components of the downhole tool string below the motor head assembly become plugged. Motor head assembly further comprises a gauge carrier connected to the orientation measurement device and comprising one or more sensors or gauges used to measure downhole parameters.
EFFECT: technical result is providing the possibility of conducting wellbore operations, even in the event the lower components of the downhole tool string become plugged.
