SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a machine for drying laundry comprising a drum with a hole for supplying laundry to be dried, an at least partially transparent or translucent door, which closes said hole for supplying the laundry to be dried, a heating device for heating the drying air, a cooling device for removing moisture from the drying air, a conveying device for circulating the drying air in the dryer and a filter unit of the drying air exiting from said drum. According to the present invention, on the side of door (4) facing drum (2), in the area below bell-shaped bulge (4') of door glass (4), first filter element (14) is mounted, rotatably mounted by means of hinge (18) in said door (4) and fixed by at least one latch (25), which interacts with retentive fixing means (26) in door (4) with snap-in, with removable filter insert (17) provided with lid (29) in housing (16).

EFFECT: machine for drying clothes is provided.
