FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for crosslinking an elastomer selected from ethylene-propylene (EPM) and ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) elastomers. Method comprises a step of combining said elastomer with the following components: elemental sulphur, peroxide, a first sulphur cure accelerator and a second sulphur cure accelerator. First sulphur cure accelerator is benzothiazole sulphenamide. Second sulphur cure accelerator is selected from a group consisting of dithiocarbamates and thiurams.
EFFECT: improved parameters of residual deformation and peel strength of the crosslinked elastomer.
