FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of practical dosimetry using for the treatment of protons and heavy ions and can be used for radiotherapy when determining the absorbed dose from a radiotherapeutic proton beam in a tissue-equivalent phantom for medical purposes. Ionizing radiation detector contains a tissue-equivalent phantom, a five-component lens system with high light, a black and white television camera with the ability to combine signals of a group of pixels of the CCD matrix and additional summation of frames to the output device of the CCD array and a computer with specialized hardware and software.
EFFECT: simplified optical system along with maintained quality of the optical image, and also improved operating modes of the television camera.
