FIELD: dose metering.
SUBSTANCE: method for testing a phantom irradiated with a thin scanning proton beam for the treatment of oncological diseases comprises two stages of performing dosimetric tests, at the same time, at the first stage, the correct position of thin proton beam slots is determined using five energies of proton radiation using the Lynx detector, depending on the change in the position of the system delivery of the beam, called the nozzle, in eight positions, with the Lynx detector attached directly to the proton beam delivery system, at the second stage, the correct position of the slots of thin proton beams is determined using five energies of proton radiation with the Lynx detector moving away and approaching the nozzle relative to the isocenter and position of the isocenter, with the help of a robotic table on which the Lynx detector is directly located, according to the results of these two stages, the compliance of the dosimetric model with the allowable values of the intensity density of the scanning beam is judged.
EFFECT: possibility of testing the dosimetric model for compliance with the requirements for reproducible radiation of a scanning proton beam.
