SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal strips transportation. Device comprises at least one base module (7), essentially with the vertical guide surface (10). Technical result is achieved by the fact, that the device has at least one controllable rotating in several determined rotational positions wearing body (12) with the flat wearing surface (12a) at the parallel guide plane (10) all determined rotational positions. After the conveying device passing by the first metal strip and before the second metal strip entering into it, the wearing body (12) is rotated in the controlled manner from the first determined rotation position to the second determined rotation position.

EFFECT: increase in the equipment effectiveness and possibility of its using to transport stripes of different thicknesses.
