FIELD: metal rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling. Devices and methods are intended for lateral direction of metal strip (1, 13), moving between two rolling stands (2, 3, 8, 9) of finish group of stands through loop hoist (4, 12). Device includes at least one module (14) of main part, having guide plane (15), as well as wearable elements (18, 19, 20) having several rotating positions in several rotation positions and having wearable surface (21, 22, 23). Between each of rolling stands (2, 3, 8, 9) and loop hoist there are at least two wearable elements (18, 19, 20), wherein area of wearing out surface (21, 22, 23) of wearing elements (18, 19, 20), if seen in direction of loop elevator (4, 12), increases. During operation of the plant, at least one of the wearing elements rotates during passage of metal strip (1, 13).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce necessity of replacement of worn-out parts or, accordingly, cleaning of wearing surfaces at lateral direction of metal strip in finish group of stands at each angle of input of strip or, accordingly, output of strip through loop elevator.
