SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a screw, a drive element, an arrangement for accommodating a screw, and a method for accommodating a screw. Screw for introducing into a base, in particular rotatable by means of a drive element, and comprises the following elements: a screw shank and a screw head. Screw head is adjacent to the screw shank, in which a drive is formed for transferring torque from the drive element to the screw. Drive has on the outer side a section with recesses and a circular hollow centre, as well as recesses located along the circumference. Drive on the inner side of the screw has a hollow cavity section, in particular a hollow cone section. Drive at the transition from the recesses to the hollow cavity section has a chamfer section whose outer plane is at an angle with respect to the outer plane of the recess section and with respect to the outer plane of the hollow cavity section. Recess elements extend up to a chamfer section. Recesses from the end of the recess located on the outer side of the screw to the beginning of the chamfer section have a constant outer diameter. Hollow centre of the recess section tapers towards the inner side of the screw, in particular in the form of a cone.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of force transfer from recesses to the profile wall of the screw.
