FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to galvanotechnics and can be used in engineering, instrumentation and other fields of engineering. Method consists in that the coating is deposited from an electrolyte containing 200–300 g/l chromic anhydride, 0.5–10 g/l sulfuric acid and 1–50 g/l dispersed phase from a series comprising titanium nitride, boron nitride and tungsten carbide, using periodic cathode current pulses from 500 to 2,000 A/dm2 with a frequency of 0.005 Hz to 0.023 Hz and a duration of 0.5 to 10 seconds, while in the interval between the pulses the deposition is carried out at a cathode current density in the range from 40 to 70 A/dm2.
EFFECT: production of highly filled coatings containing a dispersed phase up to 18 % by weight, with a developed surface structure, microhardness of coatings up to 1,800 kg/mm2, while wear resistance under lubrication conditions increases by a factor of 6–8 as compared with coatings obtained without a dispersed phase.
