FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used in various industries for increasing wear resistance of parts of machines and mechanisms. Method involves coating of chromium plating electrolyte containing suspension of diamond particles, wherein diamond particles are mixture of nano dispersed diamonds of detonation synthesis with size of monocrystal of 2÷20 nm and static synthesis diamonds with size of monocrystal of 2÷250 nm at weight ratio of detonation synthesis nano-diamonds:static synthesis diamonds = (10:90): (90:10), and electric deposition is carried out with total concentration of mixture of diamonds in electrolyte is equal to 2÷30 g/l.
EFFECT: technical effect: improved microhardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of coating with low consumption of diamonds.
