FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry, namely to fixing mine opening by frame arched shaft linings under difficult mining and geological conditions of large rock pressure and significant displacements of a rock massif, ant to a method of installation thereof. Arch shaft lining consist of side racks and a bar, wherein a fixing lock is welded to the side racks of the shaft lining. Lock comprises: lock paws configured to sense pressure from the bar when it is attached to the side rack, fixing arms and a lock rod, rotatable at the moment of attachment of the bar, grippers adapted to converge when the said rod and fixing arms rotate. Wherein the bar can move freely relative to the side rack. Said arch shaft lining is installed by a tunneling combine with an installed conveyor, a jack for feeding the bar, manipulators unfolding the side racks at 90 degrees and then the shaft lining is assembled, after assembly, the support is pressed against the rock. During installation, the side rack enters the bar, thereby activating the mechanism for gripping and securing the arches in the road-heading.

EFFECT: technical result is increased safety when installing the arch shaft lining and accelerated rate of road-heading.
