SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Piston rod comprises a lead screw and a bearing component comprising a contact surface, a periphery surrounding the center, and a connecting member disposed within the periphery for engaging the rotation of the lead screw perpendicularly to the contact surface, while the connecting element comprising a flexible member extending from the periphery to the center, flexible member being adapted to deflect towards the periphery by a force acting on the flexible member in the direction of the contact surface, and with the possibility of deflection to the center by a force acting on the flexible element in the opposite direction. In this case, the lead screw is in contact with the bearing component at least over the contact surface near the periphery of the support component.
EFFECT: object of the present invention to reduce frictional losses between a rotating piston rod and a bung for use in a drug delivery device.
